Today we shall unravel the secret to becoming God’s student. How do I become God’s student? Do I have to enroll in some school or do I have to become part of some institution or do I have to be take an oath of some kind or do I have to be consecrated for some religious practice? You will be surprised to know that it involves none of the above. Becoming God’s student is easier than becoming a student of either an academic teacher of a teacher of philosophy.

Our relationship with God is reciprocal. In order to become God’s student, I just need to accept Him as my teacher. Take a moment and just ask yourself, “Who is my teacher?” Who do I seek directions from? It is usually some person or our own mind. Even when its our own mind, it is again, the ideas of humans that resonate in our minds. Our mind today is full of internalized dictates of humans who are in body consciousness. God is beyond the body. He is instructing me to consider myself as a soul. He tells me that a soul is innately pure, peaceful, loveful, blissful and powerful. He is reminding me of my innate wisdom and power. He is asking me to have faith in what He says and act in accordance with His teachings. It is for me to choose to be His student by practicing what He says. When I do so, He promises me unlimited peace and happiness as the degree of becoming His student. So, are you willing to choose God as your teacher?
