Points to Ponder: December 25, 2017
Merry Christmas! Today let us celebrate Christmas in a novel way. Instead of waiting for Santa, let us become one today. Let me think of all the gifts that I have in my kitty. God, the benevolent one has bestowed me with innumerable gifts and assets. Let me become Santa Claus and shower these on each one I meet today. Let me first check my kitty. I have the gifts of love, care, peace, happiness, spiritual powers, time, money, energy, sweet words, warm actions,and pure thoughts. Each one of us has received these precious gifts from God in some measure. Let me become God’s ambassador for today. Let me share my gifts with God’s children who are experiencing distress and sorrow. Let me go to them or just acknowledge them as they come to me or we cross ways. With the awareness that we are all children of God, members of the same Divine family, let me understand that it is my duty to share with His children that which I have received from ‘Our Father”.
Let me also, in the process of sharing, remind my brothers and sisters that they too have been given many presents by God. Let me remind them that they too are fortunate and wealthy. That they too possess the wealth of love, care, peace, happiness, spiritual powers, time, money, energy, sweet words, warm actions,and pure thoughts. Let me also remind them that they can also multiply this wealth by investing it in the betterment of humanity. The wealth of love, care, peace, happiness, spiritual powers, time, money, energy, sweet words, warm actions,and pure thoughts only multiplies when we share, care and inspire. Let me share the secret code that God’s gifts multiply only when we invest them in the well being of humanity through the instrument of service. Let me change my attitude from that of a survivor to that of a server.
